DESCRIPTION
This early Chokwe figure has been carved with great style.
Depicting a female with elongated breasts and an elaborate cross-hatched coiffure, the figure stands in a slightly crouched posture. Her arms rest back on her shoulders, and her splayed feet are wonderfully, proportionally large.
