DESCRIPTION

Kali Laloni, made up of three separate carved parts - the main carved neckrest, two bowed legs, squared feet- one restored , joined with coir. Used in sleeping and resting H11cm W32cm .

Ex Sir Harry Luke Collection, Governor of Fiji and High Commissioner for the Western Pacific - 1938-1942. He was a published author of several books describing countries where he served, including  lslands of the South Pacific published 1962.

CONDITION

Good, wear attributable to age, crack to headrest. One foot restored.
