DESCRIPTION
An unusual and archaic looking Massim lime spatula that has a blend of Oro Province characteristics and simplified abstracted style.This piece is from the Massim near the Oro Province, Sinei Village, Western Cape Vogel area. The strong figures have large heads with a great patina from age and use. The bottom section has birds and intricate carving done in a simple, but strong style tat suggests non metal tools were used.

Fine condition with a great patina from age and use.
