DESCRIPTION

A very nice Massim lime spatula with multiple and intricate bird heads and one snake on each side. There is an interesting conglomerate of shell, beads, and seed decorations at the top along with a bit of green wire. There is some white kaolin still present in the carved details. Hallinan collection number "H596" is painted on the spatula end. Mounted on a custom metal base.

CONDITION

Fine condition with a good patina from age and use.

Previously in the collection of Peter Hallinan, Australia. Collection #H596.
